Product Description
The Millionaire's Guide to eBook Publishing is a must have for any perspective eBook author. Unlike older publishing books which focus on traditional publishing avenues used in the 80s and 90s, this book explains how the power of the Internet can be harnessed to allow an author to self publish their own eBook. This book is the most up to date and informative resource about On Demand Publishing available today. Not only is this book available as the paperback book you see today, but it originally started out as an eBook. The author, Jason D. Farber, shares his extensive knowledge of eBook development, marketing, and advertising. Using these concepts, you will learn how to create your own money tree. In the past, prospective authors had to hope that their book would be picked up by a publisher and have their work put into print. Today, an informed author can take control of their publishing needs and publish their work themselves.

a good resource
While I did not appreciate that the entire second half of this book included Farber’s “Curb Painting” book, provided as an example, I did find a LOT of usable suggestions, links…
Highly Disappointing!
This book should be called “Put a few paragraphs in front of an ebook I already wrote and sold.” True, that would be a long title, but at least it would be accurate as MORE than…
I’ve purchased and/or read a number of books on e-Commerce and e-Book publishing over the past several months, in preparation for launching several projects. While I applaud this author for making the leap and putting theory into practice, this effort is somewhat sophomoric; there are several more (but not many) content-rich and relevant works in the marketplace.
While a novice might glean some basic information from the book, anyone serious about undertaking an e-Book project and establishing a web presence/traffic can readily find more help through the search engines or by opening a basic account through a web-hosting service (if you take the author’s advice, you’ll need to do this anyway).
The book runs 121 pages, most of which contain a good deal of empty space. Most distressing, all but 44 of these pages consist of an “appendix” which is composed of the author’s previous e-Book “Curb Painting Money Making Secrets Revealed!”. Indeed, the author describes himself within the work as a “Master Curb Painter” rather than, as one might assume, an e-Book marketing guru. The appendix is intended to serve as a template and source of inspiration for would-be e-Book authors. I suppose it does, after a fashion, but I think the target audience is really looking for the technical and marketing details of e-Book publishing, as presumably anyone interested in buying this book would already have an idea for their own e-Book. Thus, the book misses its target. Having thumbed through the appendix, I can say that the author is very thorough and knowledgeable on the subject of curb painting…for what that’s worth to you.
One more thing. A previous reviewer states that the book is “…the most comprehensive insiders (sic) guide to pay per click advertising available today…” Hardly. At six and one-half pages, the book provides a cursory explanation of how Overture and Google are used in this regard. Pay-per-click advertising isn’t the answer for the e-Book novice, and it seems difficult to believe that the author used this method to hawk his book on curb painting. If he did, he’s likely in bankruptcy…
This review might seem harsh, but as someone seriously exploring e-Book publishing, I feel a bit “used” by this purchase, and urge others to carefully consider what they’re searching for before adding this book to their cart.
Awesome Book! I’m getting my book published now because of it!
If you are looking for information to teach you how to write a book and get it published on Amazon in a matter of weeks, this is the book for you.
I ordered this book to gain more knowledge about internet marketing. After I received it and starting to read the book, I found out that more than half of the book was the authors book on how to start a curb side painting of numbers. I felt that this information was totally irrelevent to what I thought the book was suppose to be. This is a RIP OFF in my opinion. The author, Jason Farber, should be upfront on Amazon’s website and let the public aware of what he is selling. I really enjoy ordering from Amazon and will continue to order from them but I won’t order anymore books from Jason Farber. Don’t buy it consumers!
I was very disappointed by this book. Before buying it I listened to teleseminars and even did some preliminary research on this topic. The reason I got it was so I could have one reference guide. If I just spent an hour online I could have collected more relevant information. In addition, half the book is about how to start a business painting street address numbers on curbs. That’s totally outside of my area of interest. If I had to buy it again, I would not.
